The New Year's Eve Party

Hello Friends!
I am a few days late with posting about my New Year's Eve so I do hope you will forgive me. :)

The Owners and I enjoyed a quiet evening at home. Owner Girl had to work until 11:00 and got home just in time to eat some cheese and crackers before the New Year hit!
Here I am with Owner Boy. Waiting for the ball to drop!

Here's a picture of The Owners. Chad took it all crookedy for some odd reason. Then the ball dropped and everyone said "Happy New Year!" I gave Owner Girl some smoochie kisses at midnight! Then I went looking for that ball! Here I am after I realized the ball was just that thing on the tv with all the lights. It was soo NOT a tennis ball! It dropped way slow and didn't even touch the ground! Plus it was on the tv so I couldn't have chased it even if it WAS a tennis ball!

Chip was pretty disappointed too since I told her about the ball. We were gonna have so much fun chasing it!

Then Owner Boy said he was going to bed! WHAT?! Owner Girl and I thought we were gonna party! Oh well, we all snuggled in and went to sleep. Happy New Year!

Hi, Tibby...

Our New Year's Eve Party was at my Mom's Niece's house...And, I wasn't even invited...

They kept talking about playing cards & watching the Ball Fall...I saw none of it...

After hearing about your experience with the Non-Ball, I guess I'm no so disappointed...I did have a nice nap while they were gone...

Happy New Year Tibby! We couldn't make it to midnight. We got into bed with Mum (until Dad came to bed) and we all fell asleep. We wish we had seen the ball though, it sounds great!

Tibby...we couldn't believe that ball was made outta crystal and not outta um tennis? er...well what are tennis balls made outta? Rubber? Actually we think Scruffy's brain is a tennis ball...we see no other signs of intelligence in there...all he does is chase balls and frisbees. Weird...

We're gonna link ur blog to ours...hope that's ok, Sweet Girl..!!

Love and kisses...Lacie

Thanks for checking out my blog!

I liked your Owner Girl's use of the word "crookedy"! We might have to borrow that one!

Sorry you were misled about the ball. That is SO not right!

Have a great week!

Ahh, Tibby, you're a girl after my own heart! Did you see my New Year's post where I turned the ball in Times Square into a giant tennis ball?

Do you like to peel them like grapes, too?

New Years was dissapointing for me too. Grandpa was over, but all they did was watch tv! But when I bugged them enough, they eventually let me get up on the couch with them and cuddle.

It's not fair we don't get to play with the ball and it doesn't even squeak!

Woof!
