The Grass is Green!

Hello Friends!

When I went outside today I was so happy to see these green things growing out of the ground!

I think that Spring is finally here! It was so sunny and nice out today!
I inspected the yard and found that even our grass is green now! It smelled good too!

There were so many wonderful things to see and smell and hear!

Birds chirping, squirrels running, plants growing and so much more!

I had a little bit of trouble paying attention when Owner Girl was trying to take a picture of me!

Eventually I looked at the camera so that she would leave me alone!

I hope everyone is enjoying Spring! I sure am!

The Lookouts

Furry details aside, as part of Travis' Blog Club I am supposed to review Thor's Blog this week!
I decided to give The Cat (Beta) and Lynx a break since they seem to be enjoying the nice weather we are having today! So here is my review:


Thor's World is a great dog blog. Thor always seems to be a happy and willing participant even though he has to get baths frequently! He takes his readers along to various dog parks and introduces us to all the wonderful dogs he meets. He always includes lots of great pictures to help us feel as though we are actually there with him! If Thor wasn't pawsome enough with all that, he is also bilingual and posts his blogs in both Spanish and English! Overall, Thor's Blog is a wonderful tribute to an amazing dog and friend!

True Colors Thursday - Beige

Hello Friends!

It's time for True Color's Thursday again! Luckily Owner Girl wasn't too busy to help me out with that! This week's color was Beige and it was a tough one for me to find!

Inside the Chinchillas cage has lots of Beige wood, our shower curtain has Beige stripes, the floor in our bathroom is Beige too, and sometimes The Lizard (Myron) sleeps in silly places on his Beige sand...

The door that goes into our house is Beige, Owner Girl made this Beige picture frame with spray paint and shells they found in Texas when Owner Boy and her went there to visit his family, and Owner Girl's Mom's dog Keena is Beige too! But I don't think she can see any colors with all that fur in her eyes! BOL!
That's all the Beige stuff I could find! We totally forgot to look in our box of crayons, there are tons of colors in there!

The Runaway

I had quite an adventure today!
You see, my friend Chip has been pretty naughty lately!

She got loose three times last week when Owner Girl took her out to go potty! Once she pulled the leash out of her hand to chase Lynx, the next day she turn around and ran as they were going back in the door and the third day she pulled out of her collar to go play with the neighbor dog! Owner Girl was not very happy! Luckily for her I am such a good little dog, she even lets me go out without my leash sometimes because I always listen to her!
Anyways, today Owner Girl let me outside when Chip ran past her! Owner Girl grabbed the leash and came out to look for us, she thought that I would run with Chip to play. When she got outside she looked around and found me right where I should be, in the yard looking for my potty spot! (Told you I am a good little dog) Chip was no where to be found so Owner Girl put me back inside to go look for her.
Chip likes to play a game where she runs straight towards Owner Girl like she is going to listen but then runs right by her, it's very frustrating! After a few minutes of that Owner Girl had a good idea! She knew that Chip loved to play with me outside so she came back to the house and put me on the leash and we went outside. Sure enough, Chip saw me and came running over to play! Just as she got to me she ran into my leash and stopped in her tracks! I caught her! Owner Girl grabbed her collar and took her inside. Then after I was done saving the day I FINALLY got to go potty! Sorry we don't have any action shots, it would be nice to have some proof that I was the hero! Owner Girl says that Chip is in for some extra training after being so naughty. It's really not safe for her to run like that when we are outside.

The Special Delivery

Sorry I have been away for a few days! I have been eager to post and to visit all my friends but Owner Girl has been very busy with work and hasn't had much time to help me! It's so not fair! I have missed so much! Luckily my Google reader thingy is keeping track of everything for me but it may take me a while to get to visit everyone!
In other news, I got a special delivery in the mail today!

It was from Mason Dixie! She sent me a super nice prize for competing in her Blog Award contest!

A cute card, some yummy treats and a pawsome magnet with my picture on it!

I hope that Owner Girl will stop being busy long enough to help me with my blog like she is supposed to! That is her most important job after all!

True Colors Thursday - Green

Hello Friends!
Before I get to all the green stuff I found for True Colors Thursday, here are today's Bingo numbers:

This week the color was green and I wish there was a little more of it outside! My grass is still kinda brown from being under the snow all winter and the trees are all still bare. I still managed to find some green stuff though!

We found some green fuzzy stuff and green leaves way at the tops of trees on our big walk in the woods!

Owner Boy's Mom has lots of green plants in the house, we found this green hose, and this green bush thing outside.

Owner Girl's penny jar is green, and so are these 5 crayons, and here I am in a green bandanna. Actually it's just some fabric that Owner Girl will be using for something else but I sure make it look cute!

The Big Woods

Hello Friends!
Today's Bingo Numbers are:

Over the weekend we had really nice weather so The Owners and I decided to go to a big big park with lots of woods and trees!

Here's a map of the trail we took. We started by the big yellow arrow and walked all the way to the end of the orange path and back!

Here I am at the start of our hike!

I think I have some woods on my face. Enough with the pictures, lets get going!

I had to jump over some big logs on the way!

We saw this funny shaped tree! And a lots of water!

We found this stone table and stopped for a picture!

We had to be careful not to trip over these tree roots.

On the other side of the rock there was this neat waterfall!

Here I am sitting on the bridge on the way back!

There was lots of water running under the bridge but I wasn't even a little afraid to go across!

We had a super fun day together and walked over 3 miles! The Owners said if it's nice maybe we will go again next weekend and take a different trail!

Lynx: Hello everyone! Welcome to Tales From the Litterbox! It's me, Lynx.
Beta: and I'm Beta!
Lynx: Weren't we supposed to do something for Tibby? Something about numbers...?
Beta: Yes Lynx, we are supposed to announce today's Bingo numbers.
Lynx: OH! Right! Today's Bingo numbers are ... um Beta, what are the numbers?
Beta: Let's see... the numbers are 31, 27 and 34.
Lynx: Oh yea, I can't believe I forgot them!
Beta: I can.
Lynx: Tibby has also trusted us with another very important task!
Beta: Actually I think she is probably just too busy with Bingo.
Lynx: No way Beta! She knows how super smart I am and that why she gave us this job.
Beta: Oh really, what's the job?
Lynx: It's to... the job is... um... hold on one second... I know this one...
Beta: HA! You can't even remember!
Lynx: Sure I can, I know it has something to do with bagels. I remember because I think bagels are yummy!
Beta: Wrong. Tibby's new friend Travis has started a new blog review club. This week we have to review the Dughallmor Beagles' blog.
Lynx: OH! I knew that, I was just testing you.
Beta: (rolls eyes) Yea right.
Lynx: Ok, now it's time for the review. You can start Beta.
Beta: The Dughallmor Beagles have a lovely blog filled with many wonderful pictures! They are always taking exciting trips to the beach and telling us fun stories about their adventures.
Lynx: Their blogs features great pictures of not only the Beagles but also wonderful landscape shots that makes us wish we lived where they are! The Beagles themselves seem to be very well mannered and friendly. And although they are not fluffy like me, they are still cute as can be.
Beta: The Beagles seem to showcase the very best attributes of the dog. They are loyal, friendly and dependable. Their blog is a very important peice of the Dogs with Blogs community as they are always involved in the various contests and games and even host some of their own!
Lynx: Overall, we think the Beagles and their blog is great and we are happy to have them as our friends!
Beta: Not bad Lynx. I liked your summary at the end.
Lynx: Gee, thanks Beta!
Beta: Of course I could have done it way better but you know, for you it was pretty good.
Lynx: I should have known you weren't actually being nice to me! (pouts)
Beta: I think that was nice. Plus you won't even remember that your mad at me in two seconds.
Lynx: Yes I will, I will never forget, you are always mean to me, you are probably just jealous cuz I am fluffy and you are not. Plus, the peoples like me better and -

The Prize and New Awards I Got!

I was so excited to find that there was mail for me in our mailbox last week!
It was a special prize from my friend Ludo!

Then my new friend Tobi gave me this super special award!

It says that I am the bingo king! I think I am a queen since I'm a girl but that's ok, at least Tobi realizes that I am royalty!

True Colors Thursday - Violet

Hello Friends!
It's time for True Colors Thursday again!
This week's color was VIOLET! It was a pretty tough one but I tried my best!

Here are the things that I found:

These croutons were in a Violet bag, and this bag of plant food has Violet on it too...

Our box of crayons had 4 Violet-y crayons, this cat nip has a Violet label and Chip's Violet water bowl that was forgotten in the dog kennel for the winter...

Owner Girl's Grandpa used to eat these Violet Mints all the time so now she buys them whenever she finds them at a store, and this scary looking Violet flower thing that Owner Girl found last summer...

and last but not least me sitting on a magic Violet rug.
This rug is actually green but since I'm sure all my friends have missed seeing my cute face and because this is my bloggy and I have to be in the True Colors post, we used the magic of photoshop to turn it Violet!

The New Baby

Hello Friends!

We have some very exciting news! Owner Girl's sister had her baby yesterday! Another boy! That means we have 4 nephews now! Owner Girl went up to the hospital to visit with them but I had to stay at home. I didn't think that was very fair but maybe I will get to see the new baby when he comes home! Anyways here are some cute pics from their visit, slightly less cute since there is a certain little black dog missing but oh well...

True Colors Thursday - Yellow

Hello Friends!
It's time again for True Colors Thursday! This week's color was YELLOW!
Here is the yellow stuff I found:

A Yellow smiley face, pretty Yellow flowers, Yellow Corn, Yellow leaves and yummy treats in a Yellow bag...

We found plenty of Yellow things in the kitchen! Like Yellow mustard, Yellow pancake mix and Yellow cheese in a can...

Owner Girl found these Yellow sunflowers last fall...

We also found this Yellow box of crayons and inside we found 4 Yellow crayons!

It was a lot of fun finding those yellow things!
