The Big Woods

Hello Friends!

Over the weekend we had really nice weather so The Owners and I decided to go to a big big park with lots of woods and trees!

Here's a map of the trail we took. We started by the big yellow arrow and walked all the way to the end of the orange path and back!

I think I have some woods on my face. Enough with the pictures, lets get going!

Oooo, look at this cool green stuff I found.

I had to jump over some big logs on the way!

We saw this funny shaped tree! And a lots of water!

We found this stone table and stopped for a picture!

We had to be careful not to trip over these tree roots.

Here's me and Owner Boy in the stream getting our feets wet!

On the other side of the rock there was this neat waterfall!

Here I am sitting on the bridge on the way back!

There was lots of water running under the bridge but I wasn't even a little afraid to go across!

We had a super fun day together and walked over 3 miles! The Owners said if it's nice maybe we will go again next weekend and take a different trail!

Tales From the Litterbox: Episode 5

Lynx: Hello everyone! Welcome to Tales From the Litterbox! It's me, Lynx.
Beta: and I'm Beta!
Lynx: Weren't we supposed to do something for Tibby? Something about numbers...?
Beta: Yes Lynx, we are supposed to announce today's Bingo numbers.
Lynx: OH! Right! Today's Bingo numbers are ... um Beta, what are the numbers?
Beta: Let's see... the numbers are 31, 27 and 34.
Lynx: Oh yea, I can't believe I forgot them!
Beta: I can.
Lynx: Tibby has also trusted us with another very important task!
Beta: Actually I think she is probably just too busy with Bingo.
Lynx: No way Beta! She knows how super smart I am and that why she gave us this job.
Beta: Oh really, what's the job?
Lynx: It's to... the job is... um... hold on one second... I know this one...
Beta: HA! You can't even remember!
Lynx: Sure I can, I know it has something to do with bagels. I remember because I think bagels are yummy!
Beta: Wrong. Tibby's new friend Travis has started a new blog review club. This week we have to review the Dughallmor Beagles' blog.
Lynx: OH! I knew that, I was just testing you.
Beta: (rolls eyes) Yea right.
Lynx: Ok, now it's time for the review. You can start Beta.
Beta: The Dughallmor Beagles have a lovely blog filled with many wonderful pictures! They are always taking exciting trips to the beach and telling us fun stories about their adventures.
Lynx: Their blogs features great pictures of not only the Beagles but also wonderful landscape shots that makes us wish we lived where they are! The Beagles themselves seem to be very well mannered and friendly. And although they are not fluffy like me, they are still cute as can be.
Beta: The Beagles seem to showcase the very best attributes of the dog. They are loyal, friendly and dependable. Their blog is a very important peice of the Dogs with Blogs community as they are always involved in the various contests and games and even host some of their own!
Lynx: Overall, we think the Beagles and their blog is great and we are happy to have them as our friends!
Beta: Not bad Lynx. I liked your summary at the end.
Lynx: Gee, thanks Beta!
Beta: Of course I could have done it way better but you know, for you it was pretty good.
Lynx: I should have known you weren't actually being nice to me! (pouts)
Beta: I think that was nice. Plus you won't even remember that your mad at me in two seconds.
Lynx: Yes I will, I will never forget, you are always mean to me, you are probably just jealous cuz I am fluffy and you are not. Plus, the peoples like me better and -
Beta: (rolls eyes, tosses cat toy into hallway)
Lynx: Oh look! (jumps off bed and runs to attack cat toy)
Beta: So Lynx, are you still mad at me?
Lynx: What are you talking about? (whaps cat toy)
Beta: Told you. See you next time everyone! (Publishes post)

The Pets of the Week!

Thanks for stopping by to see my Pets of the Week! We are almost done finding Tibby look-a-likes (or the best we can find) from all the states! The Prize and New Awards I Got!

Hello Friends!
I was so excited to find that there was mail for me in our mailbox last week!
It was a special prize from my friend Ludo!

Thanks Ludo I love it!

Then my new friend Tobi gave me this super special award!

It says that I am the bingo king! I think I am a queen since I'm a girl but that's ok, at least Tobi realizes that I am royalty!

I entered Mason Dixie's blog award contest and even though I didn't win I got this neat award made by the Dughallmor Beagles just for participating!

True Colors Thursday - Violet

Hello Friends!
It's time for True Colors Thursday again!
This week's color was VIOLET! It was a pretty tough one but I tried my best!

Here are the things that I found:

These croutons were in a Violet bag, and this bag of plant food has Violet on it too...

Our box of crayons had 4 Violet-y crayons, this cat nip has a Violet label and Chip's Violet water bowl that was forgotten in the dog kennel for the winter...

Owner Girl's Grandpa used to eat these Violet Mints all the time so now she buys them whenever she finds them at a store, and this scary looking Violet flower thing that Owner Girl found last summer...

and last but not least me sitting on a magic Violet rug.
This rug is actually green but since I'm sure all my friends have missed seeing my cute face and because this is my bloggy and I have to be in the True Colors post, we used the magic of photoshop to turn it Violet!

The New Baby

Hello Friends!

We have some very exciting news! Owner Girl's sister had her baby yesterday! Another boy! That means we have 4 nephews now! Owner Girl went up to the hospital to visit with them but I had to stay at home. I didn't think that was very fair but maybe I will get to see the new baby when he comes home! Anyways here are some cute pics from their visit, slightly less cute since there is a certain little black dog missing but oh well...
