The New Awards

Hello Friends!

Over the weekend most of our snow melted away! I hope this means that spring is on it's way! The only bad thing is that the snow left lots of mud around our yard so my paws get all dirty now when I go out! Just in case anyone is missing their snow here is a pic of me with snow on my cute face!
Owner Girl thought it was soo cute. I just thought it was cold and wanted to go inside!

I haven't had a chance to visit all your blogs all weekend since we have been soo very busy! I am very behind on seeing what you are all up to but I'm trying to get caught up!

I was so surprised and excited to find that I received some lovely awards!

Since I have to make this quick and get busy visiting all my friends, I will combine the rules of these two and list 7 things that honestly make me happy!

1. My family, especially my Owner Boy. He is my very favorite even though I spend more time with Owner Girl.

2. Food! I like my doggie food but most of all I love it when peoples share their food with me!

3. My Blog! I have so much fun with my bloggie and love to think of new fun things to do with it!

4. All my friends! I am so happy that I have met so many wonderful doggies and their peoples!

5. Chewing on bones! I love my doggie bones, especially yummy flavored ones.

6. Playing! I like to play fetch, tug of war and I really love to rough house with Owner Boy.

7. Weekends! I like the weekends because The Owners are both home with me usually and we get some quality snuggle time in.

The Pets of the Week!

Hello Friends!
I have had a busy weekend. We had lots of peoples over at our house tonight. Owner Boy had family visiting from Texas so a whole bunch of family peoples came over to eat dinner with us! Us dogs had to be locked up in a bedroom because there were some little kids that were afraid of us. But we got to come out after a little bit and of course everyone loved seeing me do my tricks!
Anyways, here are the Pets of the Week!

This is Cici!
She lives in Oklahoma.

She is a Boston Terrier / Mini Schnauzer Mix. She is good with other dogs and kids!
I think we could be long lost relatives! She has an adorable face just like me!

He is a 2 year old terrier mix. He is a very active boy despite having a broken leg when he was younger that has since healed.

The Pay It Forward Game!

I was invited by my friend Abby to Pay It Forward! I have been anxiously awaiting my surprise from Abby and it showed up in our mailbox a few days ago! It smells pretty good, let's see what's inside!

True Colors Thursday - Orange

Hello Friends!
I'm finally getting my post up even though it's technically not Thursday at my house anymore! It's been a pretty long day! Here are the orange things I found:

me in my orange & red coat, orangey fruits in a paw shape, an orange kitty (OG's Mom's), Me in my orange collar

orange dog water, an prettiful orange card from Bae Bae, an orange capped people drink,

Owner girls camera bag has orange on it, my orange collar and this toy I got for x-mas with orange antlers.

I found way more orange stuff than I thought we had!

In other news, I have lots and lots to post but the Owners and I have been very busy with Bingo, remodeling and Owner Boy's family is coming to visit from Texas this weekend! I promise we will get everything up as soon as we can!

Tibby's Tricky Tuesday!

Hello Friends!

Here are today's Bingo numbers in case you missed them on the Bingo Page:Also, I added a sign up form for the next game at the top of my sidebar, please sign up if you want to play (even if you are playing the first game)!

Now for a pawsome trick I know!

JUMP!
(Owner Girl didn't upload the video yet
cuz she is being very lazy busy with making
a HUGE mess of the bathroom doing
something called "re-deck-or-ate-ing")

Here's what your owner should do:

1. As always get some yummy, super delicious doggy treats.

2. Have your dog sit or stand in front of you and do something that will make your dog jump! Try jumping up and down, throwing a toy up or just getting him very excited! (Try not to let him jump ON you!)

3. When he jumps say "jump" then "good boy" and reward with a treat!

4. After a few times of him jumping like this, phase out the thing you are using to make him jump (toy, you jumping, etc) and start using a hand signal in addition to the command. (My Owner Girl puts her arm out, hand in a fist with fingers down and pulls her hand up when giving the command)

5. Once your dog gets the hang of this trick, try giving him the command when he is calmer. If your dog doesn't seem to be getting this trick, be patient. I know some doggies that really just don't like to jump.

6. Keep training short and fun for your dog and don't get frustrated if your dog doesn't seem to be catching on. Move on to something your dog knows well and always end the session on a happy note!

7. As always, these are just the steps that worked for me and Owner Girl. If they aren't working for you and your dog, don't worry! There are many professionals and resources out there that can help you find the best way for you and your dog!

Lynx: I wasn't, I was gonna say flesuper cool!
Beta: Flesuper is not a word.
Lynx: Sure it is. It's Lynxanese! It means fly and super cool!
Beta: Nevermind, we have some very pressing issues to discuss!
Lynx: Oh yea, like what?
Beta: Well, first of all I have PROOF that YOU have been socializing with the enemy!
Lynx: What?! I never socialize with Chipmunchies, you know that!
Beta: No, not Chipmunchies. The other enemy!
Lynx: Bird'oeuvres?
Beta: No, the other other enemy!
Lynx: Hmmm... Mice Cream?
Beta: NO, you know, the Bigger other other enemy
Lynx: I don't have any idea what you're talking about.
Beta: Maybe THIS will refresh your memory!!Lynx: OH! You mean Tibby? I thought we were supposed to be friends with her?
Beta: Are you crazy?! We're cats, she's a dog! Don't you know anything?
Lynx: I know that I'm fl-
Beta: Don't even think about it!
Lynx: ...what? I was gonna say flawlessly awesome!
Beta: Don't change the subject!
Lynx: That picture was taken a long time ago anyways, look - there's no snow on the ground!
Beta: That's beside the point. We are not friends with dogs!
Lynx: Sure we are! (Whispers to Beta): Remember most of Tibby's blog friends are dogs! We should be nice to them so they don't run us off her blog!
Beta: Oh, you're right Lynx! (nervous smile) How could I forget? We LOVE dogs!
Lynx: Yup we sure do!
Beta: Oh, would you look at the time-
Lynx: I would but I can't read clocks.
Beta: I think I hear some Kitty Kibble in the kitchen!
Lynx: Oooo I sure am hungry! Let's go!
Beta: I'll meet you down there. (Walks to the door)
