True Colors Thursday, A New Award & Sad News

Hello Friends!
I have decided to allow the cats to post on my bloggy every now and then as long as they don't eat any of my food or try to get my bones at home. They agreed pretty easily.

Also, I just learned the sad news that Addie and Lucie's sister Zoe has gone to the bridge. I am so heartbroken to hear this news and will be thinking of her loving family that is missing their precious girl.Run free sweet Zoe.

Tales From the Litterbox: Episode 2

Beta: Hello, Beta here!
Lynx: And me, Lynx, you know...the fluffy one!
Beta: You're not even that fluffy Lynx.
Lynx: Way fluffier than you!
Beta: Yea, well that just means more fur balls for you to cough up so have fun with that!
Lynx: ...you know studies show that 8 out of 10 people prefer petting fluffy cats over non-fluffy cats.
Beta: Really, and where was this study conducted?
Lynx: ...uuhhh... the University of Lynxford!Beta: That's not even a real university!
Lynx: Sure it is. It's very prestigious, very hard to get into, probably why you've never heard of it.
Beta: Anyways, moving on from your delusions... we have business to attend to today.
Lynx: Really! What is it?
Beta: We are petitioning the people for more cat toys.
Lynx: Oh we are?
Beta: Yes, we talked about this.
Lynx: We did, when?
Beta: When we were eating this morning!
Lynx: OH! You know you can't tell me things when I'm eating, grooming, chasing mice, sleeping or being petted!
Beta: When can I tell you things then?!
Lynx: ...
Beta: LYNX!
Lynx: ...What? I was bird watching, add that to the list!
Beta: I think a stuffie would be a better co anchor than you.
Lynx: Wouldn't we need to be reporting news to be anchors?
Beta: Fine! A stuffie would be a better sidekick than you!
Lynx: Really we're more of equals so...
Beta: UGH! Nevermind!
Lynx: Plus I bet a stuffie wouldn't be nearly as fluffy as me!
Beta: (glares, flicks tail angrily, then walks away)
Lynx: Well, I guess we're out of time for today! Fluffy Lynx signing off! (Publishes post)

Tibby's Tricky Tuesday!

Hello Friends!
Welcome to MY Tricky Tuesday! Today we will be learning another pawsome trick I know!
This one is called...

WHICH HAND?

Here's what your owner should do:

1. Remember to get some yummy treats!

2. Have your dog sit.

3. Put one treat in one hand then turn both hands over in fists and put them in front of your dog. He may sniff at your hands but don't open your hand to give him the treat until he puts his paw on the correct hand.

4. If your dog is only smelling you can lift his paw to your hand to show him what to do.

5. Once your dog is "tapping" your hand consistently you can start making the trick a little more of a challenge. Hold the treat up where your dog can see it. Then switch the treat from hand to hand a few times (slowly at first) before closing both and asking your dog "which hand?"

6. Before long your dog will be a pro and will impress all he meets with his skill and intelligence!

Always remember to keep training sessions short and fun for your dog. If he doesn't seem to be getting a trick, don't get frustrated, move on to one he knows well and revisit the new one later.
These are just the steps that worked for me and Owner Girl. If they don't seem to be working for you and your dog, don't worry! There are many resources and professionals that can help you!

The Monday Blues

Hello Friends!
I have a case of the Monday Blues today!
Owner Girl is still making those barking noises sometimes but her human voice is back! Owner Boy and the other peoples in the house have been spending lots of time in the bathroom. I don't know what's so interesting in there but they have been pretty lazy too. I heard Owner Girl say something about peoples being sick, so maybe that's it.
Being sick must make you lazy cuz The Owners didn't want to do anything fun this weekend!
I hope this sick thing doesn't last long cuz I'm getting very bored! I hope I will have some fun adventures to share soon! Until then at least you can look at this cute picture that Owner Girl got of me! Hey, I'm feeling a little better already. I guess adorable must be the cure for the Monday blues! I think I'm gonna go visit all my doggie friends' blogs - I should be able to find lots of adorable!

The Ears Have It

Have you ever noticed that I have two different ears?
I always wear my one ear out to the side! ALWAYS!
See...

When I'm driving.When I'm being silly.After a bath.In the Summer.In the Winter.When I'm begging.And even when I'm at the vet!
My buddy Gunner has two different ears too!One day I tried to wear my ears like him but I guess it just wasn't my style. And even when I was trying to look like Gunner I still had my one ear out to the side!

Oh well, I guess it's just one more thing that makes me special!

Another thing that makes me special is all of my great friends!
