Hello friends.
Thank you so much for your patience and kind words while I was away.
I am sad to tell you that Owner Girl's Grandma passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008.
It has been a hard week for The Owners and OG's family. They take peace in the fact that she was ready and passed peacefully with her loving family around her.
We love and miss her very much and always will.
I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you a little about Owner Girl's Grandma Bev.

She was a wonderful person, who loved to laugh. In Owner Boy's words, "she made family functions fun." Even in the last days of her life she was laughing at the stories her children and grandchildren told her. Owner Girl told her about my Christmas cards and how pretty I looked in my Christmas dress!
She loved to shop on QVC and this was frequently a source of jokes from the family, although we often had a good laugh at her I can't think of many people who would spend so much of their time just looking for things to buy for friends and family.
She always said your name when saying hello or thank you, making you feel recognized and appreciated.
She loved to tell stories about her life to anyone who would listen, looking back now, Owner Girl says she wished she had listened a little more closely.
She was a dedicated advocate for Al-Anon (support for friends and family of alcoholics).
She wasn't afraid to say much and often times shocked us all with the things she said.
She was funny, caring, kind and so many other things!
As the days go on it is harder to pretend that she is not gone. The reality is starting to sink in and we can only take comfort in the fact that she knew how much she was loved and we know how much she loved all of us.
Thanks again for all the kind words, prayers and thoughts. Although it has been a tough week and there have been moments of sadness we know that Grandma Bev would want us to laugh and be happy, so we will. We will relish in the moments of happiness that come our way, and when something is funny, we will laugh a little louder, and a little longer and know that she is laughing too.
